Welcome to the UG Confab

Welcome Undergraduate Life Science Educators

45378160The LifeSciTRC is pleased to bring you the UG Confab, a blog by undergraduate educators for undergraduate educators. UG Confab is dedicated to equipping our community members with the resources and information they need to further their professional development and instill in their undergraduate students a deep passion for science. On this blog, readers will find LifeSciTRC community members, experts from partner organizations, and undergraduate educators from all over the country (and the world!) sharing the best in effective teaching resources and current science.

Here’s a little taste of what we will be offering you starting in August:

  • Advice for planning your school year
  • The science and issues behind biomarkers and cancer
  • Helping students become responsible for their own learning
  • Exposing students to primary science literature

Is your interest perked? This blog is just one starting point for conversing with your fellow educators. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page and Twitter Feed or the LifeSciTRC Newsletter if you’re a register member for other discussions, blog announcements and upcoming topics.

Can’t wait until August? Start discussing these and other topics with your fellow educators in the Undergraduate Educator Community Forum. If you’re not already a LifeSciTRC Community Member, visit our home page to register. Don’t worry, it’s free and we never sell or share your information with third parties.

See you in August and in the meantime be sure to share this blog and other LifeSciTRC resources with your colleagues!
